THE REBUILDING OF A CITY
Now that you have completed the analysis of the pictures depicting the fall of Tenochtitlan, let us examine what was to become of the ruined city. Tenochtitlan was rebuilt by the Spanish and became one of the largest cities in the world, Mexico City. It was rebuilt over the ruins of the fallen city close to an active volcano.
