Battle for the Empire Rules

It is now time to “Battle for the Empire”. Your civilization’s future existence has been placed in the hands of the few, deemed worthy of fighting such a battle, knowing the gravity of the stakes at hand –  the end of your civilization as you know it.

Jeopardy – How it’s going to work.

All those brave enough to accept this final task will fight for the right to save their Empire. Empire members will battle against each other answering questions on the Spanish/Aztec Empire in a “Jeopardy” battle format. Every member of your Empire must answer as many questions as possible correctly to gain the maximum number of points for your Empire. The points gathered by each individual in battle will be added to the Empire’s total. Your success in the first part of the battle will determine whether you have earned the right to go onto a Final Battle for the Empire (Final Jeopardy). The top two scores from each Empire will determine the combatants for the “Final Battle for the Empire”. These points gathered in the final battle added to those previously acquired, may be the determining factor that topples an “Empire”.

Group Expectations:
Empires must develop a series of twenty questions, divided into four categories that will test your enemies’ skill and knowledge of battle. These questions will increase in value as you battle through to the end. Make sure to assign the appropriate type of question to the assigned point value. This is critical for your Empire not to provide any incentive (easy questions and high point value) to a civilization you intend to destroy. Remember you are bound by an oath of blood to the Empire – failure is not an option.

A template for your final battle plan (Jeopardy) will be provided for your group to plan out and formulate a winning attack. See the link below.
