Boa Constrictor

Appearance (What they look like)

Boa constrictors have a very wide jaw.
Their skin is cream, tan, brown and black with patterns

Habitat (Where they live)

They live in Central and South America.
They are also kept as pets in some parts of South America.

Diet (What they eat)

They are meat eaters, and hunt at night.
They eat small animals such as mice, moles, monkeys, lizards, and frogs.

 

Babies

The male and female will join together in parts of the year to have children.
The mother will look after the baby snakes.
The mother snakes have 20 to 60 babies at a time.

 

Enemies

When young the can be eaten by birds and when they are older they can be killed by humans
