Habitat (Where they live)
A good home for the rattle snake is where there is a good supply of small animals to eat and where it is warm for them.
|
|
Diet (What they eat)
Rattlesnakes feed on rodents and other small animals like rabbits.
They kill their prey by biting them quickly with a poisonous bite.
|
| |
|
Babies
The rattlesnake's eggs hatch inside the mother snake, and the babies are born alive.
Baby rattlesnakes are usually small and black or brown.
The rattle on a baby rattlesnake does not work when it is first born. |
