Welcome to Henry the Navigator’s School of Navigation, founded in 1419 in Portugal.  Henry is a Portuguese prince who has invited scholars from all over Europe and the Middle East to attend his prestigious school.  You are here to learn about new sailing techniques, instruments, designs for sails, new navigation tools and mapping.  Henry, the leader of this school, has been credited with establishing many new practices used by explorers, so you will receive the most up to date navigational information.  Admission into Henry’s school requires you to complete the nav_school_entrance_form.doc by researching in the websites below. Once you are done, submit your entrance paper to the headmaster.  Once you have gained entrance to the school, start researching the information required of you by your captain found in the captain and countries links above.
