The temperature is rising on Hollywood Squares! Nine celebrities will answer questions posed by the game show host. Contestants will battle it out to determine who the expert on global warming is. The game show will be videotaped and watched by viewers in your area.
- Using resources provided, research information on one of the following topics:
- What is global warming?
- What evidence shows global warming? (changing weather patterns)
- How has Canada contributed to the problem as well as the solution?
- Using the information you have gathered create three questions with four believable multiple choice answers for each. Edit well.
- Conference with the Hollywood Squares producer (teacher). Make necessary changes.
- Write each question and its multiple choice answers on an index card.
- With the producer, create a plan for the order of the questions as well as your roles in the show (host, contestants, team members).
- Discuss props and costumes. Invent a creative name for yourself on the theme of global warming.
- Rehearse the production.
- Create props.
- Bring costumes on filming day.
