The students decided they wanted to do something for one of the children's charities. They organized a reader's cafe and art gallery where they sold treats made by the class and their art work.
The class raised $200.00. The money went to help send a classmate with diabetes to Camp Jean Nelson
(a summer camp through the Canadian Diabetes Association for children with diabetes)
