Introduction

Extinction means that the species of animal is gone forever and will not come back.  Scientists think that every day 1 to 3 species of animals or plants native to the rainforest and the world’s ecosystem become extinct.   This means that extinction hurts everyone: animals, plants, and people!

So, who are these animals of the rainforest?  Why are some of them endangered and on the process to extinction? What is causing their endangerment? In this webquest you are a reporter for David Suzuki.  You will collect information and research animals from the Amazon Rainforest. You will use the information that you have collected to develop a report and presentation on an endangered rainforest creature.
