Radio news is usually quite short and doesn’t have as much
detail as news in a newspaper or TV news report. Start your story
with the most important information then add the details in later.
Make sure to include the who, what, when,
where and why of the story. The first sentence should have
the when, where and what of the story.
Example: On May 13, Mr.
Petros Shinkewski discovered that all of his Kovbasa (koo-ba-sa,
sausage) had been stolen from his garage fridge.
Later on in the story add details like: Currently
there are no suspects but police are on the lookout for known
thieves with garlic breath.

or make up something that could happen.
Make your article as clear as you can. After the rough copy get
an editor to check it for mistakes.
Your parents or a teacher can help revise
your report to make it clearer or more interesting. After it has
been checked by your teacher it is ready to be read. You will
either read it to the class as a play or read it into a microphone
to be put on the internet.
